Application of charges
All charges shown herein are based on point of origin and point of terminus, as well as one way or return.
All rates include Goods and Services Tax and will be adjusted from time to time in accordance with the law.
All rates will have any additional tolls, surcharges and other taxes added to them at the rate determined from time to time by law.
All charges shown herein are payable in lawful Canadian or equivalent US currency.
Forms of payment are cash, Visa™, Mastercard™, or AMEX™.
Membership
Membership cards will be issued aboard the SNOWBUS, or at our office.
BC residents, 4x4, Edge and ISIC cardholders are eligible for free SnowCard membership.
A $20 fee is charged to non-residents for SnowCard membership.
SNOWBUS is not responsible for lost cards and may charge for replacement.
SNOWBUS retains the right to revoke membership and its privileges at any time for any reason.
Member card must be shown when boarding the bus.
Non-members who do not wish to join SNOWCARD may travel at non-member specific rates.
Membership cards are and remain the property of SNOWBUS.
Application of Fares, Rules and Conditions
The fares, rules and conditions contained herein are applicable to the operation of a SNOWBUS scheduled service and no one shall have authorization to change or deviate from such fares, rules or conditions.
Internet
Every transaction processed via the Snowbus website shall be subject to a $2.00 transaction fee.
Membership pass codes may be required for any individual to access SNOWBUS online services (e.g. online booking, purchasing ski lift passes, advanced booking of ski rental equipment).
Booking policy
Members and non-members may be required to book their trip 24 hours in advance of travel to guarantee service.
Refunds
Snowbus offers full refund, minus a transaction fee of $2.00 plus taxes on all cancelled Snowbus seat reservations up to 48 hours before departure.
Subject to $15.00 administration fee if cancelled by 12 noon one day prior to travel.
Non-refundable if cancelled after 12 noon one day prior to travel.
Baggage policy
All property is stored on the bus at carrier’s risk. The Carrier will be responsible for their own baggage and are required to observe their baggage at all stops. Snowbus Ltd. waives all responsibility for damage, breakage, deterioration, delay and/or loss of any prohibited article or any article of baggage. Snowbus Ltd. does not accept any liability for property that has been left at a stop, in or on the bus.
SNOWBUS will also charge separate rates competitive with courier service for the separate transport of parcels, packages, letters, etc.
SNOWBUS will not accept for transportation any article, the transportation of, which is prohibited by law.
Animals
No animals will be transported by SNOWBUS, save and except for those that are carried in an approved transport kennel or other container approved by SNOWBUS. SNOWBUS reserves the right to refuse the transportation of any animal, should SNOWBUS deem that a given animal to be transported might be harmful or detrimental to the safety of its passengers or drivers. This rule does not apply to seeing-eye and personal assistance dogs.
Objectionable Persons
SNOWBUS reserves the right to refuse to transport any person who is under the influence of intoxication by liquor or drugs, or who is incapable of taking care of themselves, or who show conduct which is such, or is likely to be such, as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers. This rule does not apply to persons under medical supervision and accompanied by qualified medical personnel.
Liability
SNOWBUS will not be liable for delays caused by acts of God, public enemies, authority of law, quarantine, peril of navigation, riots, strikes, the hazards or dangers incident to a state of war, accidents, breakdowns, bad condition of the road, storms and other conditions beyond its control, and does not guarantee to arrive at or depart from any point at a specified time
If any acts of God, public enemies, authority of law, quarantine, peril of navigation, riots, strikes, the hazards or dangers incident to a state of war, accidents, breakdowns, bad condition of the road, storms and other conditions beyond its control, make it, in the opinion of SNOWBUS, inadvisable to operate its service, SNOWBUS shall not be liable therefore, or be caused to be held for damages for any reason whatsoever.
Liability for loss, delay or damage to baggage, equipment and other paraphernalia is limited to $50.00 per passenger.
Claims
All claims for damages of whatever character or nature must be made within 48 hours of occurrence with SNOWBUS head office.
Cancellation charges
Cancellation notice for reserved and prepaid trips must be given at least 24 hours in advance of the pick-up time in order to receive a refund of the prepaid fee.
Refund may be subject to a transaction fee of no more than 15% or $5.
Guarantee Requirements
SNOWBUS reserves the right to require a guarantee of payment by means of credit card or cash on reservation, at its discretion.
Collection of charges
All charges for SNOWBUS service, including baggage, surcharges, are payable either at the time passenger makes a reservation through an authorized agent or the SNOWBUS internet website or when boarding SNOWBUS vehicles, unless credit has been established with the approval of SNOWBUS.
Age Restrictions
A family member or an adult who is authorized by the legal guardian must accompany a person under the age of 8 years old.
Damage to vehicles
Each vehicle used by SNOWBUS in its service will be in good condition, including the condition of window glass and seats. Any damage to such a vehicle caused by a passenger or passengers will be charged by SNOWBUS to that passenger or passengers.
Smoking / alcohol policy
Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited by law on any of our vehicles. Intoxicated passengers will not be permitted to board and fares will be non-refundable within our cancellation policy.

When someone other than yourself is accompanying you on travel purchased through Snowbus.ca, we may collect PII and travel preferences about that individual. You should obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing Snowbus.ca with their full names, contact numbers, e-mail addresses, and travel preferences, as they will be unable to directly access our systems to view or change any information you provide on their behalf.
Travel Purchase Information
Snowbus.ca may collect the billing address of the credit card that is used to purchase travel. We will also collect credit card information, including card number, card type, cardholder name, and expiration date, in order to bill you for travel purchased through Snowbus.ca. Snowbus Reseller Information

SnowCard member Information
When you register to become a member of Snowbus.ca, we use your information to create your SnowCard member account. You will then receive an e-mail confirming your membership, confirming your user name and password and describing the services provided by Snowbus.ca.

Information collected when you complete your profile is used to confirm and process your travel reservation. In addition, information collected from you when you purchase travel is used to bill your credit card and deliver your travel itinerary, either electronically or through the mail.

In the event your travel plans are disrupted because of mechanical, weather, or business conditions, Snowbus.ca may call or send you an e-mail notification to inform you of any changes.
Marketing
If you are a SnowCard member, you may

Snowbus.ca and its marketing partners. We may also use your e-mail address or

itinerary. We may attach a software devise to some of the emails we send you to

Snowbus.ca may contract a reputable third party to facilitate the distribution of survey, promotion, or sweepstakes programs. Upon completion of these projects, all information is returned to Snowbus.ca.
Merchant Partners
